TURN WASTE INTO A RESOURCE: RECOVER HEAT, SAVE ENERGY, TRUST HYDRO ENERGY
We have the right heat recovery system for you.

Thermal waste from industrial effluent are residual heat flows generated during industrial production processes that are not directly used and are often released into the environment. These heat flows represent a form of potentially recoverable and reusable energy, thus helping to improve the overall energy efficiency of the industry.
Thermal waste derives from various stages of industrial processes, including:

To recover and reuse waste heat, there are various technologies and approaches. The most economical and efficient is represented by heat exchangers, for which Hydro Energy is a world leader and in fact are used to transfer heat from a waste stream (your hot effluent) to another stream that can use it (for example, new cold water that you want to heat to reintroduce into the production cycle).
Waste heat from industrial effluent represents a significant energy resource that, if properly recovered and reused, can improve energy efficiency by up to 80% drastically reducing emissions and improving industrial sustainability. Investing in waste heat recovery technologies is a winning strategy for industries that want to optimize their processes and reduce their environmental impact.

SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER
PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
DISC HEAT EXCHANGER
Shell and tube heat exchangers are devices used to transfer heat between two fluids at different temperatures, without the fluids mixing. This type of exchanger consists of a bundle of tubes enclosed within a cylindrical shell. One of the fluids flows through the tubes, while the other flows outside the tubes, inside the shell.
Plate heat exchangers are devices used for heat transfer between two fluids. These exchangers consist of a series of thin, corrugated metal plates placed close together to create channels through which the fluids flow. The plates provide a large contact surface, improving the efficiency of heat transfer.
Rotary disc heat exchangers are devices used for heat transfer between two fluids, characterized by the presence of discs that rotate inside the device. This configuration allows for effective heat transmission thanks to the movement of the discs, which improves the contact between the fluids and the heat exchange surfaces.
