Industrial waste heat is waste heat flows generated during industrial production processes that are not used directly and are often released into the environment. These heat flows represent a potentially recoverable and reusable form of energy, thus helping to improve the overall energy efficiency of the industry.
Thermal waste arises from various phases of industrial processes, including:
Combustion processes: Heat not fully used during the combustion of fuels.

DISC EXCHANGER
Plate heat exchangers are devices used to transfer heat between two fluids. These exchangers are made up of a series of thin metal plates, corrugated and placed together to create channels through which the fluids flow. The plates offer a large contact surface, improving heat transfer efficiency.
Rotating disc heat exchangers are devices used to transfer heat between two fluids, characterized by the presence of discs that rotate inside the device. This configuration allows effective heat transmission thanks to the movement of the disks which improves the contact between the fluids and the heat exchange surfaces.
Shell and tube heat exchangers are devices used to transfer heat between two fluids at different temperatures, without the fluids themselves mixing. This type of exchanger consists of a bundle of tubes enclosed inside a cylindrical shell. One of the fluids flows through the tubes, while the other flows outside the tubes, inside the shell.
